Black Walnut Festival

30th Anniversary
October 21-22, 2017

This year’s Black Walnut Festival is a very special 30th anniversary occasion! Always one of the best festivals in the SW Ohio area, this year promises to be even better!

Lots of activities, entertainment, and food for the whole family PLUS great crafts and items from our many vendors and guests!

Booths Open:    9:00 am – 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday
Parade:    10:00 am Saturday, Oct 21
(Parade Grand Marshalls will be the Camden Somers Twp EMS & Fire Department)

Events include:
  • Various live music both days at the Entertainment Tent including Tune Travelers from 2:00-4:00 on Saturday and Rocky Creek from 2:00-4:00 on Sunday
  • Car and Cycle Show – Saturday only (Rain day is Sunday)
  • Kiddie Tractor Pull & Championship Pull – Sunday 2:00
  • Baked Goods Contest & Auction – Sunday, 2:00 at Firehouse
  • Crowning of Black Walnut Festival Princess following the parade (at gazebo)
  • Chain Saw Artist, Dayle Lewis – Saturday & Sunday
  • Raffle Drawsings for 50/50, Bengals tix, donation basket – Sunday 5:00 pm
  • Valley Exotics Petting Zoo – Saturday & Sunday
  • Wonderful homemade crafts and items for sale both days

  • Entries due by 2:00 pm at Camden/Somers Twp Dept Firehouse
  • Any type of baked goods with or without black walnuts
  • 1st place $50, 2nd place $30, 3rd place $20
